CORNWALL

In 2012 the ARL project began in our home region of Cornwall.

With support from Arts Council England and the Cornish Studies Library we set out to collate a series of images that represented the shifting nature of the Cornish rural landscape.

A region that is known for its agricultural, mining and fishing heritage, Cornwall is now a firm fixture on the tourist map. This means that the traditional ways of life are at the very forefront of change, seen elsewhere in rural locations around Europe.
