GALBIATE

In 2016 we worked with the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Milan to produce a study on the rural Lombardia region of Galbiate.

This region is dominated by its mountainous landscape, and the influx of industrial manufacturing works over the previous century.  Amongst this are the remnants of traditional hill farming, fishing and other historical rural activities. There is no escaping the influx of leisure however, and with larger cities growing to the South, each weekend a flurry of activity descends on the slopes.
