Redruth Photographs
The photographs in this exhibition were produced to compliment a series made in 1999 and exhibited in Redruth in 2000. All the photographs in the 1999 project were made in a redundant shop near the old fair field in Redruth’s West End.
In contrast the new work produced in 2024/5 was shot on diverse locations in and around the town. The photographs include people who were born and who chose to remain in Redruth, as well as individuals who have chosen to locate here or were simply passing through.

The project was developed in partnership with Auction House Gallery, Back Land West, CMR with considerable support from Plymouth University, Falmouth University, Cornwall Council’s Library and Archive Services and Redruth Town Council.
